Received 54 Likes on 43 Posts. 2012 Parking Brake Problem-Not Just Me. I took my less than one month old truck into service because when I release the parking brake, the light and the warning stays on. I have to set and release it a few times, maybe jiggle the handle, for it to go off.
Parking brake "engaged" light won't turn off I spent the last 3 days working on the interior of my 2013 SCrew XLT 4x4. I had the negative battery terminal disconnected the whole time, with the exception of reconnecting to move the electric driver's seat to get to all the bolts once to remove the seat and again to reinstall.
